I've called Portland home since 1988, and in that time this city has given me everything - community, family, and a career that fills my heart every single day. After sixteen years in real estate, I've had the privilege of walking alongside clients through some of life's biggest transitions. A new job, a growing family, an empty nest. These aren't just transactions to me. They never have been.

So when I say this next chapter is something special, I mean it.

I'm thrilled to announce the founding of The Portland House Company - and even more thrilled to be building it alongside my son, Nathanael Horton. Nathanael comes from 14 years as a Producer in film, television, and advertising - a world that demands exactly the kind of operational precision, creative problem-solving, and calm-under-pressure leadership that great real estate deserves. He runs a tight ship, and he does it with genuine care for the people around him. I may be a little biased, but I couldn't ask for a better partner.

Together, we're creating something we believe Portland has been ready for: a boutique real estate company built on real relationships. The kind where we know your story, champion your goals, and stay in your corner long after the keys are handed over. That's always been how I've worked - and now it's the foundation of everything we're building.

What excites me most about what's ahead is the experience we'll be able to offer our clients from start to finish. Nathanael's background means the logistical side of every transaction - the timelines, the coordination, the twenty moving pieces happening at once - will be handled with a level of care and organization that most people never even see, but always feel. You'll feel supported. You'll feel informed. Nothing will fall through the cracks.
